WIDE/SIDE, João Martinho Moura (2015)
Following the author’s previously work, which interlinked the body, interactivity and digital art : YMYI (2007 ) , NUVE (2010 ) , SUPER COLLIDER SHAPE (2011), B/SIDE ( 2012), CAMERA NEURONAL (2012) , João Martinho Moura introduced in 2015, a new work, in the form of interactive installation: WIDE/SIDE, which represents the body, inter-connected, whose silhouette is captured by sensors, promoting immersive experiences, using fast light beams projected in a sculptured surface. The body is represented digitally in an abstract space and generatively changed in time. The interaction is synchronized with sound atmospheres, which react to the lines generated by the silhouettes, and their movement.
